Well, the main thing on the agenda this week was my three-monthly scan on Thursday, but thankfully I had plenty of work on before that to keep my mind off it and to keep me busy.
It started with my first Instagram Live Q&A which I really enjoyed. I just love talking to people and answering questions about anything really. It’s good for my recovery and gets me thinking and jogs some memories, and I’ll be doing another one very soon.
I was also able to do some work against for Astro TV in Malaysia which was great. The boys there have been really supportive of me, and it was really nice to be asked back once again. The Malaysian Leeds fans have also sent me a lot of supportive messages which has been great. I was on with Tony Adams last week, and I found it really interesting working with someone with his knowledge and experience. He’s also a great lad is Tony.
I also did my first live appearance on Liverpool TV in a long while, watching their Under-23s against Manchester United from Leigh Sports Village. Liverpool won 5-3 which was obviously very pleasing against them, and they had some good players on show.

Talking of good players, I was lucky enough to catch up with Patrick Bamford for a video interview as well, which you can see on site now. It’s no secret that I’m a huge admirer of Pat and I can’t thank him enough for giving up his time for a chat the other night. Speaking to him only emphasised what I’d thought about him being a real good, intelligent lad, who knows his stuff, and has a real desire to succeed as a player.
Back to the scan…there’s a million places I’d rather be than undergoing a brain scan, but it is what it is. The fact that I’m claustrophobic as well doesn’t help my anxiety around it, but I’m writing this on the afternoon after having it, and fingers crossed all is ok when I get the results.
